The Department for Health and Social Care has a secondment vacancy for a Stakeholder Liaison Lead in the Long-Term Conditions Team, working specifically on the ABI Strategy.
The ABI Strategy is a ministerial priority and the Stakeholder Liaison Lead will support the development of policy proposals for inclusion in the Strategy and ensure that the views of patients, carers, families and professionals are fully taken into account
in the policy development.
The role will involve building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, particularly voluntary sector organisations working with people with an ABI. It will also involve working closely with the newly established patient and
public voice reference group. The post holder will work with policy colleagues, analysts, other Government departments and Arm’s Length Bodies to identify and address key issues and risks to the strategy’s delivery, in particular focusing on securing
buy in from stakeholders and ensuring effective local implantation.
This is a hybrid role with some days in the Leeds or London offices and some working from home. It is a part time role of between 2-3 days a week for a six-month period though this can be negotiated
