The Mike Barnes Award for Innovation
The award will recognise an innovative project/concept in the management of Acquired Brain Injury that has originality, viability, feasibility and desirability. The winner will receive support from NIHR Health Tech Research Centre in Brain Injury to advance their project.

The award will recognise an individual for their inspirational work in the field of Acquired Brain Injury.

The UKABIF Poster Prize
If you have a research project which focuses on brain injury you can enter the UKABIF Poster Award – posters presented at previous events are accepted and encouraged! The winner will receive £100, free UKABIF membership for one year and free admission to the 2026 conference.
