Mike Barnes Award for Innovation 2021 |
The Mike Barnes Award for Innovation 2021 - winner announced The Mike Barnes Award for Innovation 2021 was sponsored by Elysium Neurological and run in collaboration with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative. It aims to recognise and celebrate a credible and innovative project/concept and provide the winner with support to take it further. The Award was presented to MyAbility at the UKABIF Time for Change Summit on 8th November 2021. The innovation was created by Dr Andrea Pickering, Consultant Clinical Psychologist of Recolo; Fran Sephton, Emma Bowers and Niki Dutton, Highly Specialised Speech and Language Therapists at AT Therapy. They will receive support from the National Institute for Health Research to advance their project and mentoring from Dr Penny Trayner from Goal Manager.
