If COVID has contributed anything it has been a surge in innovation in healthcare - we want to hear about your ideas and innovations relating to acquired brain injury! You also have the chance to win the Mike Barnes Award for Innovation which will give you support to take your ideas forward.
UKABIF is encouraging entries from professionals from all disciplines involved in the management of Acquired Brain Injury, individuals with a brain injury and their families or carers, students, the general public, care providers and voluntary organisations, personal injury lawyers and social care workers.
The award is sponsored by Cygnet Health Care and is being run in collaboration with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative, who will provide support for the winning entry.
The deadline for entries is 19th October 2020 (please note the previous deadline of 30th September is still on the application forms). A shortlist of entrants will present their innovative idea to the judging panel and the winner will be announced no later than the 16th November 2020.
