The annual UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum Summit is back for 2022 bringing a full programme of speakers, organisations and key partners to discuss developments and improvements in the delivery of care for people with an acquired brain injury.

This year’s Summit is on Monday, 7 November sat The Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

One of the main issues of the programme will be the UK Government’s Acquired Brain Injury Strategy with a comprehensive update on the work of the Programme Board, steering committee and the Patient and Public Voice Group. The Strategy, secured by Chris Bryant MP, is likely to be implemented in Spring 2023 and the Summit will provide a perfect opportunity to hear the latest developments.

Other topics for discussion include Neurorehabilitation in the North West of England and legal issues and acquired brain injury.

The annual UKABIF Awards, sponsored by Elysium Neurological, will also be presented on the day.

Chloe Hayward, Chief Executive of UKABIF, said: “We are really excited to bring together a great line-up of experts in the field of acquired brain injury. The wide range of topics means we cover issues which are of interest to people across all sectors.

“We always aim to be as inclusive as possible so we are providing very low rates and have some funded spaces too. We hope to see as many people as possible in person on the day this year.”

Opportunities for exhibitors to be part of this event are still available. Email admin@ukabif.org.uk for more details.
