N-ABLES are thrilled to share their new article "back to school after brain injury", written by Dr Emily Bennett & Dr Gemma Costello. The article was published in Nasen Connect's January edition and discusses the work being done by N-ABLES and others to raise awareness of ABI in education, and the resources available. You can access it here: https://nasen.org.uk/resources/nasen-connect-magazine-january-2022. – you need to be a member of NASEN to access the article but joining is free. By publishing articles read by those working in education N-ABLES hopes to raise awareness of acquired brain injury in schools and other education settings. The Syndicate has also published guidance on returning to school after an acquired brain injury which can be used by teachers, families and health care professionals to support a child or young person going back to education after an acquired brain injury.
