Working with private insurers, the NHS and accepting private referrals, we are a unique provider of Consultant-led rehabilitation programmes.
 
Senior Occupational Therapist
 
This position is for a full-time, permanent Band 6 Occupational Therapist (may require weekend cover), at the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
 
The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is a private hospital specialising in in-patient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation. The case load mainly involves spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and stroke along with other neurological conditions.
 
This position requires proven clinical skills in rehabilitation of a range of neurological conditions, preferably in spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries and stroke. The role consists of hand splinting and upper limb rehabilitation, promoting functional independence, cognitive rehabilitation, discharge planning and liaising with external agencies. Candidate must have HCPC registration and have at least 2 years of experience in neuro-rehabilitation in UK. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and must demonstrate ability to handle complex case load. Experience in hand splinting is essential for the post whereas experience in seating is desirable.
